Brief Biography:

Mrs B.M. Babalola obtained her B.Tech (Hons) and M.Tech in Industrial Chemistry at Federal University of Technology, Akure in 2005 and 2011 respectively. Before her University degree, She attended Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti and graduated in 2000 with National Diploma (ND) in Science Laboratory Technology. She recently completed her doctoral degree training in Environmental Chemistry at the University of Lancaster, United Kingdom.

Brief Biography:

Dr E.G. Olumayede is a Senior Lecturer of Evironmental Chemistry in the department of Industrial Chemistry, Federal University, Oye Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. His Academic qualifications include B.Sc (Hons) Chemistry, M.Sc (Industrial Chemistry, MPhil (Environmental Chemisstry) and Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry magna cum laude granted on August 12th, 2011 by the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. Before the current appointment, he was employed as Senior Lecturer, Department of Chemical Science at Ondo State University of Science and Technology, Okiti Pupa, Ondo State, Nigeria and teaching courses in Physical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry. Meawhile, before Universities appointment, he has served as a lecturer in Rufus Giwa Polytechnic in Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria (between 9th December, 1991 and 29th March, 2012) where he rose to the position of Principal Lecturer and served as Head of Department, General Study Department between March 2007 and February 2009, and Head of Science Laboratory Technology from March 2007 until April 2011.

Over the years, Dr Olumayede has accrued expertise in microanalytical detection methods in the fileds of environmental chemistry and toxicology and Ecotoxicology. He has performed various studies on chemical fate in the environment and developed predictive/interpretive models for the studies. He has acquired knowledge annd experience in the assessment of exposure to chemicals, skills in assessment and management of risks associated with such exposure as well as impact its on the environment.

At the Universities level, He has been teaching undergraduate courses in the field of analytical Chmistry, Radiochemistry and Environmental Chemistry. He has supervised undergraduate projects and involved in various Research and Development projects. Dr E.G. Olumayede has over 20 scientific articles at International and National Journals. Also, he author and co-author four textbooks for student use.
